The Church of the Holy Comforter…

seeks to be Christ’s arms of love reaching out to this troubled world.

In order to do this, our mission must be to:

1. Gather regularly for worship, seeking nourishment in the Word and sacraments.

2. Gather regularly for learning, via Scripture, reason and tradition.

3. Gather regularly for discernment, seeking ways to reach out to the poor, the helpless and the needy.

4. Gather regularly for fun, to become the community that makes up this part of Christ’s Body, and so become His “arms.”

We are seeking a new rector

Our rector, the Rev. Janice Gordon-Barnes, is leaving our parish this summer after 20 years as our spiritual leader. Her last service will be Aug. 2. As the search for our new rector unfolds, we will be posting pertinent information on this site.
