Job Opening
Our parish is looking for an office secretary. Primary responsibilities include preparation and publishing of weekly church bulletin plus monthly newsletter. Time also required for Church Administration items such as registration for baptisms, marriages, funerals, etc. This position is a 30-hour per week opportunity covering five days (M-F). BOOK SALE -- A book sale will be held the week of June 8 in the Parish Hall. The hours are June 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; June 9-13, from 10 a.m. to noon and 5 to 7 p.m.; and June 14, from 9 a.m. to noon. The dates and hours that books may be dropped off at the church are June 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; June 2-6, from 10 a.m. to noon and 5 to 7 p.m.; and June 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
PARISH WEEKEND -- Please sign up now if you plan to attend our parish weekend, Oct. 24-26 at Claggett. A signup sheet is posted outside the Parish Hall. Monies are not due until June 1, but we need a final count this week. People of all ages and both new and longtime parishioners are encouraged to attend. Questions? BIBLE STUDIES -- Two Bible studies are held each week, one on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., and the other on Fridays at 7:15 a.m. Both are led by the rector and will concentrate on the Gospel of Mark.
NEED A RIDE? -- Do you need a ride to church? We have willing volunteers ready to pick you up and bring you to church. We're coming to church anyway and would be happy to have your company.
